Pablo Rojas Lorenzo was the son of a Spanish seargent then stationed in Southern Philippines.

Representative of Zamboanga - first Philippine Legislative Assembly (the lawmaking body of the Philippine government at that time)
Representative of Zamboanga – Constitutional Convention of 1934
Appointed Mayor of Zamboanga City – 1939 to 1940

MARIA CLARA LORENZO LOBREGAT (1921-2004)
Maria Clara Lobregat, daughter Pablo Rojas Lorenzo was exposed to politics early (she was present at Malacanang Palace when Zamboanga was made a chartered city) but she ran for office only later on in her life, in 1971. Prior to that, she was president of Philippine Coconut Producers Federation (COCOFED). She holds the distinction of being the first woman mayor of Zamboanga City. Based on her 2002 SALN, she was named the richest mayor of a Mindanao town.

CELSO LORENZO LOBREGAT (1948- )
He is on his third-tem as mayor of Zamboanga City.
He is the third generation Lorenzo to wield political power in Zamboanga City. His mother, Maria Clara Lorenzo Lobregat, was mayor of Zamboanga from June 30, 1998 to January 2, 2004. His mother’s father, Don Pablo Rojas Lorenzo, represented Zamboanga City in the Constitutional Convention of 1934 and was appointed Zamboanga Mayor in 1939 by President Manuel L. Quezon.
